This is my final image of my printed model. I wanted to get in close to the middle and show the core and how all the movement is branching out from the one central point and how it is twisting on itself. The shadow on the core showing that it is the strong dominant piece holding all the fluid fragile bits on the outside.

DSDN 104 - Final Render
The final render. I liked how this has turned out after many trials with it. The layout is how i wanted it showing the dominance of my main model by just outsetting it to the front slightly. The lighting ended up being a spotlight because i found this to create really cool shadows on the models onto the plane which shows a really different and unique pattern again from a completely new perspective almost showing a different journey to what you see when looking at the models. I added a water like texture to tie in with the fluid and motion i was looking at and added quite a discrete one as i didn't want it to be a obvious water or blue colour to draw away from the composition of the models and the render itself. Overall very happy with how it turned out.
DSDN 104 - Some Shots Of 3D Model
These are just a assortment of pictures just to show my overall model from different lights and angles to get the feel for how it came out.
DSDN 104 - Model + Render Comparison
These i just put up to show how well my model turn out in comparison to my renders i did of my model on the computer.
The centre of my model took a lot of cleaning to get all the protective layer out from all the overlapping bits but as you can see it turned out very well in the end.
DSDN 104 - Final Test Renders
For this render i attempted to lay out my models in a straight line and to emphasise the main model i had printed i put a light slightly under the plane to add a nice glow from underneath it but at the same time lighting the others.
Same thing as before however added two extra lights on either side to light up the background some more. I think this one however is too light as the previous one had better effect with shadows on the model.
I tried a different layout this time by taking away the light to show my main model and having it slightly out the front instead to show its importance. I like this layout better to be honest but still would like to try adding cast shadows onto the ground to see what that would look like.
Finally tried adding cast shadows onto the plane and i think it works quite effectively. The shadows that are created really show and emphasis the movement the model has in a different way than to what you see it normally which i find really cool.
DSDN 104 - Composition Renders
A few renders showing both material and lighting.
This one i used the material i used earlier but added a light to one side. I like the effect of the shadows on the model however i want to try having shadows cast onto the ground to show the movement the model has through its cast shadow.
This i tried adding a light behind which almost makes it a silhouette effect. What i don't like about this is the fact it looks like my model is floating with no sense of what is around it kind of as if it has jst been placed there. Thats why i want to try adding a plane and having the models cast shadows and ee how that turns out.
DSDN 104 - Lighting Trial Renders
Here are some lighting renders being done as trials to try and see what i want my final render to look like or achieve.
This one was just a quick one adding a light to the side to give shadows to one side but i don't think this fits my narrative exactly as i'm looking at fluid and motion and feel like this is too dark for what i'm trying to portray.
This again is even darker and doesn't fit my narrative to show fluidity when you can hardly see the model itself. I might try putting a light underneath to really emphasis the curves up the top of the model.
This one is better as it is showing my model in a brighter light showing it in a more softer tone too rather than with heaps of shadows which was veering off my narrative.
